What we do

City Lights Students Ministry focuses on helping students keep Jesus as the foundation in their life. We believe that students are not the “future” of the church but are part of the church now. So just like our church body is all about the help, hope, and healing of Jesus, we also want our students to lean into those truths and find their healing as well. We understand that we cannot shield them from the world but aim to help them navigate through it with a deep understanding of who God is and His love and care for them. At the center of everything we teach is deep biblical truth, the kind of truth that creates a safe space for students to share. Your student will be met with grace and room to get it wrong, ultimately allowing them to be honest about where they are. We would love them to be a part of City Lights Students!

Our Student Ministry meets on Sundays at 11:00 a.m in the gym. Students have time to hang out, and engage in a group game, followed by splitting up into age and gender-specific small groups where they go through our Life Bible Study for that Sunday. This is the same study our adult classes are going through, giving parents a common topic and theme, they can discuss with their students!

City Lights Student Ministry meets on Wednesdays from 6:45-8:15 p.m. in the gym! Students will have time to hang out, play group games, worship together, and hear a message tailored specifically for them. City Lights Wednesdays end with gender & grade-specific small groups led by their group’s adult leaders
